Frequently Asked Questions

When will you ship my order?

Our gift boxes/gift baskets are made to order. Once we receive your order, please allow 1-3 business days for production plus delivery time, depending on where they are going.

What are your delivery methods?

Our production warehouse is based in Vancouver. We ship across Canada via Canada Post and FedEx.

Shipping might take from 3 to 5 business days depending on location.

Local Hand Delivery for all orders in the Lower Mainland.

What is your Return Policy?

Due to the nature of the items included in our gift boxes/gift baskets, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds. We will make every effort to resolve customer satisfaction issues promptly. You can reach us via email at or via phone at 604-370-3900. Our office hours are 9 am to 4 pm PST Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

Do the boxes come with a note?

Each of our gift boxes includes a small notecard. You simply provide us with your message at check out, and we will handle the rest.

Do you include a receipt in the gift boxes?

Knowing that they are almost always a gift, we won’t include any receipts or packing slips inside our boxes/baskets. 

Do you ship the gift as shown on the website?

We take great care curating each gift box for our customers, and we always try our best to ship exactly what you see on the product page. On rare occasions, certain items can become unavailable at the time of your order. Therefore, we reserve the right to substitute an item with the same type, equal or greater value. We will not substitute an item unless the quality and aesthetic meet our exceptionally high standards.

Do you offer custom gifts?

We offer gift design services for all occasions such as Corporate Events, Client Appreciation, Wedding Welcome, and Corporate Holiday gifts.

BC Liquor Control Regulation

As defined by the BC Liquor Control Act, we are able to sell gift boxes/gift baskets with Alcohol and Spirits. Recipients of these gifts must be 19 or older (ID may be required). Deliveries may not be made to a public place. Under the Liquor Control act, we are considered a “Delivery Service”.  Alcoholic beverages are purchased directly from the BC Liquor Store at regular prices. 

In order to provide this service, we are allowed to add delivery and handling fees to the cost of any alcoholic products purchased from the BC Liquor Store.

CHAMPAGNE & FIZZY DRINKS: These beverages may freeze, and bottles may break during the colder months – Madison Gift Co. does not take responsibility for frozen or broken beverages. We will contact the purchaser if delivery is not advisable and will either work out a substitute beverage or product or will refund the order entirely.
